Special Issue: Multiple Planet Systems
Participants of the Multiple Planet Systems (EXO-MPS 2026) conference are invited to submit review articles and original research papers to the Springer Nature multi-journal collection Multiple Planet Systems.
The collection is dedicated to theoretical and observational studies of the dynamics, formation, architecture, detection, and characterization of multiple-planet systems and planets in binary stars.

Participating journals
Authors may submit their contribution to either of the following journals, depending on the scope of the manuscript:

Celestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy (CM&DA)
Suitable topics include the detection and characterization of multiple-planet systems, resonant and near-resonant configurations, secular dynamics and chaos, transit timing variations, three-dimensional architectures and Lidov-Kozai effects, the formation and stability of S-type and P-type planets in binaries, numerical fitting tools, dynamical analysis, and long-term stability. -
Astrophysics and Space Science (Ap&SS)
Suitable topics include planet formation and migration, protoplanetary disks, post-main-sequence evolution, stellar binaries, observational surveys, Gaia astrometry, and other studies within a broader astrophysical and planetary-science context.
Manuscripts should be submitted directly through the selected journal. During submission, please indicate that the manuscript is intended for the Multiple Planet Systems collection.

- Submission deadline: 31 May 2027.
- Both review articles and original research papers are welcome.
- All submissions will undergo the standard peer-review process of the selected journal.
- Publication under the subscription model is free of charge.
- Open-access publication is available for a fee or under the terms of eligible Springer institutional agreements.
We warmly encourage all conference participants to contribute to this collection and to help provide a broad overview of current research on multiple-planet systems and planets in binary stars.
