Venue

The conference will be held at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" between August 31 - September 4, 2026. The exact location is the Rectorate building, in the "Grand Lecture Hall" (the Aula), 15 Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria.


Getting to the Aula

The conference takes place in the Aula of the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", 15 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. (metro station Sofiyski universitet – Sv. Kliment Ohridski). The Aula is not visible from the street, so please follow the marked route below — click a number on the map to see what that point looks like.

Enter through the passage in the facade, between the theatre poster board and the panel with the University emblem. The passage leads into the inner courtyard.

  2. Inner courtyard. Cross the courtyard and head for the arched door between the two columns, up the few stone steps.
  3. Corridor. Go straight along the wood-panelled corridor, towards the newspaper kiosk at the far end.
  4. The Rotunda. You reach the round domed hall with the mosaic floor. Continue across it, keeping to the right.
  5. Main staircase - the Aula. Take the wide marble staircase with the flags. The Aula is at the top of the stairs.
